And together, we will redefine success.Role purposeTo sustain its growth, A&O Shearman LLP Belgium is currently looking for an Junior Associate for our Tax practice in Brussels.Our tax lawyers in Belgium assist domestic and international clients on a range of tax topics, often with a cross-border element. This involves not only tax structuring (in the context e.g. of acquisitions, group reorganisations, investment funds etc.), but also tax litigation and tax risk management. Who we are looking for You obtained a Belgian Master in Law with outstanding academic results and an additional education in Tax Law;You have 1-2 years of experience as a tax lawyer;You have excellent command of French (written and spoken) and a very good command of English and Dutch;You are a team player with excellent legal capabilities, you have an entrepreneurial spirit and good communication skills;You like to work in a team and are able to work independently at the same time.Rewards & BenefitsYou will be a part of a well-integrated team that works on high profile Belgian and international matters;We offer a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to be a part of a leading international law firm;We make a long-term commitment towards our lawyers.
