Your journey with us The Technology Officer will be responsible for leading innovation projects within the Belgian Deloitte's Audit & Assurance practice, aligned with Deloitte Global/NSE insights and strategy. The Technology Officer will support the Audit business transformation and the Assurance growth strategy by delivering technology solutions that match the business needs. The Technology Officer will also be responsible for leading the development and implementation of technology processes, policies, standards, and guidelines in line with all relevant Deloitte Global/NSE and/or business unit, legal, and regulatory requirements. He/she will be responsible to manage and engage with different types of users/stakeholders while at the same time, providing support and being involved in the operational and functional processes of each project. Your responsibilities: • Support innovation projects within the Belgian Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance practice aligned with Deloitte Global/NSE strategy and insights, supporting the Audit business transformation and the Assurance growth strategy • Support the identification and assessment of developments on Deloitte Belgium/NSE level and liaise with Central IT Department to ensure that Deloitte Audit & Assurance exploits the latest innovations and best practices for optimal business benefit • Support Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance development, by delivering technology solutions to match the business needs • Support the development and implementation of technology processes, policies, standards and guidelines in line with all relevant Deloitte Global/NSE and/or business unit, legal and regulatory requirements • Support the development and delivery of technology investments and change programs to ensure sustainable competitive advantage• Support the analytics activity within the Belgian Deloitte Audit & Assurance Practice • Defining, implementing and managing team-related processes, activities and methodologies to ensure they achieve the optimum balance of effectiveness and efficiency and exploit internal and external best practice • Driving the Deloitte Audit & Assurance teams to use technology solutions through inspiration, learning & development • Participate in building an agile technology & analytics team to deliver innovative solutions that have the potential to be used by many geographies across NSE • Identify targets for standardization to reduce the technology complexity across NSE Let's talk about you  To qualify for the role you must demonstrate skills and experience in the following: •Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar relevant field • You have at least 7 years of professional experience as an Information Officer/Technology Officer • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder and multi-cultural environment •Affinity with or interest in finance, audit and/or accounting or willing to develop relevant knowledge of the audit process and assurance service •Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships •Creative thinking, problem solving and managing multiple projects/priorities •Leadership and strong project management skills •Data driven analytical thinking, as well as excellent communication skills •Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI •Fluency in English and French and/or Dutch Successful track record of: •Leading projects and influencing business change •Building sustainable and future-proof solution sets •Integrating information across international/national levels and departments •Adding strategic value through technology & delivering cost savings
