Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Architect to join our clients team in Belgium. As an Azure Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translate them into scalable, reliable, and cost-effective Azure architectures.
Responsibilities:
- Designing end-to-end cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure that meet the business and technical requirements of our clients
- Collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their business needs, objectives, and constraints.
- Evaluating existing infrastructure and applications and providing recommendations for migration to Azure.
- Architecting solutions for high availability, scalability, security, and performance optimization on Azure.
- Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure CLI, or Azure PowerShell for automated deployment and management of Azure resources.
- Configuring and optimising Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, etc.
- Implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Designing and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity solutions on Azure.
- Monitoring and optimising resource usage to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Integrating Azure solutions with DevOps practices for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Azure Architect or similar role, with a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and solutions, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, etc.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure CLI, or Azure PowerShell.
- Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance standards.
- Experience designing solutions for high availability, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or related certifications are a plus.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.
