Join us to play your part in the KLA story in Frederik Goovaerts' teamA Customer Support Engineer at KLA is primarily responsible for customer service activities associated with updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing of highly sophisticated capital equipment at customer sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering Graduate to start their career or an experienced Engineer to progress their career in a technically challenging environmentMajor Responsibilities include:Responsible for customer service activities associated with updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing of highly complex capital equipment at customer sites.Represents the company to the customer and assumes accountability for customer satisfaction with service.Assures operational quality of system equipment.Coordinates actions with customers to minimize down time.May provide assistance to Installation Engineers in resolving problems.Technical skills:Ability to understand and troubleshoot problems in software and electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical and electro-optical systems to address on site customer problems.Excellent presentation and communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent customer relation and teamwork skillsMinimum QualificationsLanguages: Fluent English (Both written and spoken)Bachelor's Level Degree or Technical High School Diploma with some experienceExperience in semiconductor, electromedical or complex measurement systems is a plusBe aware of potentially fraudulent job postings or suspicious recruiting activity by persons that are currently posing as KLA employees.
