Compliance en ethiek stimuleren bij Elia - Voeg je bij ons team

We zijn op zoek naar een dynamische Compliance Officer om onze collega's aan te sturen en te inspireren en samen ervoor te zorgen dat Elia Group de beginselen van wettigheid en ethisch gedrag naleeft. Als Compliance Officer speel je bij Elia een cruciale rol, met de volgende belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden:

Een programma voor wettelijke compliance en ethiek & integriteit implementeren en beheren: een uitgebreid programma aansturen rond transversale onderwerpen, waaronder de Ethische Code en bijbehorende beleidslijnen van de Groep, zoals bestrijding van omkoping en corruptie, belangenconflicten, klokkenluiden en risicobeheer van derden. Je zal ook toezicht houden op de doeltreffendheid van maatregelen rond specifieke compliancegerelateerde onderwerpen binnen verschillende business units of bedrijfsfuncties. Bedrijfsbeleid uitwerken en verbeteren: samenwerken met collega's van 50Hertz om beleidslijnen uit te werken en te verbeteren voor Elia Group en de Belgische wettelijke entiteiten binnen de Groep, waaronder ETB, WindGrid, EGI en re.alto. Opleidingsprogramma's rond compliance aanleveren: opleidingsprogramma's rond compliance uitwerken, aanleveren en begeleiden om ervoor te zorgen dat alle medewerkers volledig op de hoogte zijn van de compliancenormen. Toezicht houden op de wettelijke naleving van de Elektriciteitswet en andere wetten: handelen als de autoriteit op het vlak van Elia's compliance van de Elektriciteitswet en andere wetten, voorbereiden van een jaarverslag voor de CREG (de Belgische energieregulator) en bevindingen omzetten in een relevant beleid. Contacten onderhouden met CREG: optreden als het centrale contactpunt met de CREG rond compliance en nauw samenwerken met andere bedrijfsdepartementen om compliance te verzekeren. Aligned assurance verzekeren voor Elia's controleomgeving: samenwerken met Internal Audit and Risk Management om ervoor te zorgen dat Elia's controleomgeving in overeenstemming is met de compliancenormen. Bijdragen aan corporate governance: helpen bij het opstellen van input rond corporate governance voor jaarverslagen en vragenlijsten voor banken, investeerders, assessoren en auditors. Verslag uitbrengen rond stand van zaken en compliancerisico's: regelmatig verslag uitbrengen over de stand van zaken van de inspanningen rond compliance en de belangrijkste compliancerisico's onder de aandacht brengen.

Als Compliance Officer rapporteer je aan de Head of Internal Audit & Risk Management.

Om in deze functie te kunnen uitblinken, heb je idealiter het volgende nodig:

Een diploma rechten. Een goed begrip van en bereidheid om te investeren in kennis van wetten en voorschriften die van toepassing zijn op Elia Group. Begrip van CMS-activiteiten, waaronder aFRR, mFRR, FCR en CRM, is een troef. Sterke communicatievaardigheden in het Engels, Frans en Nederlands (kennis van het Duits is een troef) in zowel een formele als informele context. Het vermogen om de belangrijkste kwesties in de toepasselijke wet- en regelgeving te herkennen, compliance-oplossingen voor te stellen om zakelijke groei op lange termijn te stimuleren en de implementatie van gepaste compliancecontroleprogramma's te verzekeren. De vaardigheid om complexe regelgevingskwesties op een duidelijke en begrijpelijke manier over te brengen aan het management en het personeel. Sterke samenwerkingsvaardigheden om doeltreffend samen te werken met andere controlefuncties, bedrijfsfuncties en ondernemingen. Aantoonbare empathie en doorzettingsvermogen om een succesvolle implementatie van compliance te stimuleren.
