This is a fulltime hybrid role where you will be working from our office in Brussels, Belgium. Role Overview At Zurich, our Claims team plays a key role for our clients. You will handle Liability and Financial Lines claims of varying complexity efficiently while providing excellent service to both the customer and Zurich. The role involves engaging with stakeholders, gathering evidence, and assessing claims accurately, all while ensuring integrity and spotting opportunities for recovery or fraud prevention. Key Responsibilities Asses and determine claims, within the approval authorization frame, on insurance policies on liability & financial lines Undertake effective investigation to enable accurate and prompt liability decision making Set up and coordinate the process and assess the need for (external) expertise You will effectively capture all new claim reports and other relevant information with accuracy Effectively manage the claim journey and expectations Qualifications Minimum a bachelor’s degree, a law background is preferable 2-3 years of experience working within a technical Liability claims environment, experiences with handling of bodily injury claims are a plus Good technical knowledge along the claims handling core processes Excellent knowledge of both Dutch and English (written, spoken) are required, knowledge of French is an asset.
