Overview We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Platform Architect to drive the development and delivery of our Engineering and Observability Platform. This role will involve overseeing the technical design, architecture, and execution of the platform, ensuring security, scalability, and high performance. The successful candidate will act as cross-functional organization architect, including CICD/DevOps Engineering, Tooling, Observability and monitoring professionals, to deliver solutions that align with customer needs and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the technical development and implementation of the Development/ Observability Engineering platform. Oversee platform as a service architecture and evolution, focusing on security, scalability, and performance. Manage the platform's compliance with security, legal, and regulatory requirements. Drive innovation by staying up to date with industry trends and ensuring platform alignment with best practices. Collaborate with senior management and external stakeholders to communicate progress and challenges. Lead the development of CICD architecture, supporting efficient code delivery for developer teams Contribute to observability and Monitoring architecture to ensure effective application/ service monitoring Ensure technical governance and evaluate new technologies relevant to platform as a service architecture Create concepts and detailed design documentation Guide architectural decisions using best practices in platform services management Your Profile Your profile Required Skills & Experience Extensive experience in building microservice architectures on Kubernetes Several years of experience in building and operating CI/CD architecture Experience with cloud provider migrations and operating hybrid cloud architectures (ideally Azure, certification is a plus) A hands-on approach, high sense of responsibility, strong initiative, independence, and entrepreneurial spirit An analytical and structured work style, solution-oriented mindset, and excellent communication skills 5+ years of experience in technical leadership in Engineering Platforms or related fields. Strong technical expertise in cloud services, Azure AKS, Azure Monitoring, Observability, containerization, automation, observability, and monitoring; and security tools. Solid understanding of cloud service delivery, Tooling, security practices, and IT operations. Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or Agile methodologies. (certification is a plus) Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across technical and non-technical teams. Experience with stakeholder management in multi-vendor or multi-team environments. Experience with ITIL service management practices is a plus.
