If so, we have a remarkable opportunity for you Based in the vibrant city of Dubai, but with the flexibility of a global reach, our client is a leading entity specialized in FinTech solutions and pioneering technology. We are looking for a Jira Productivity Analyst that can produce weekly insights into team productivity by distinguishing genuine contribution using data from Jira, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Timing, and other relevant systems. What your responsibilities will include: Analyze engineering time logs in relation to Jira velocity (story points completed per sprint). Monitor effort versus delivery by comparing logged hours (via Timing, GitLab, and Jira) against actual output. Identify delivery bottlenecks across teams and products to improve efficiency. Generate weekly reports highlighting underperformance, overengineering, and velocity discrepancies. Maintain performance dashboards and configure alerts for detecting anomalies. Investigate incident logs and trace root causes back to specific engineering workflows. Qualifications: 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence (BI), or engineering performance analysis roles. Proficiency with tools such as Jira, GitLab, Confluence, and time-tracking systems (e.g., Timing, Harvest). Strong command of SQL and experience with BI platforms such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau. Background in SaaS, Agile software development environments, or technology-focused FP&A is highly desirable.
