Construction Engineer

Overview PM Group are seeking an experienced Construction Engineer to join our pharma construction project team in Ghent, Belgium. PM Group is an employee owned, international project delivery firm. Responsibilities Lead construction activities including design coordination, installation oversight, and system integration for production facilities Oversee installation of stainless steel process piping, vessels, and equipment requiring pharmaceutical-grade finishes and validation-ready construction standards Coordinate with process engineers and validation teams to ensure EU GMP requirements are met Supervise construction of controlled environment systemsManage contractor performance for specialized installationsEnsure construction compliance with pharmaceutical industry standardsCoordinate commissioning activities Qualifications Experience in pharmaceutical construction projects (media preparation, sterile processing, or bioprocessing facilities experience advantageous)Strong knowledge of EU GMP requirements. Understanding of construction regulations, pharma facility licensing requirements, and European regulatory compliance standards Proven track record managing complex technical packages in sterile manufacturing environments with validation and regulatory oversight Proficiency in English (plus Dutch and/or French languages desireable) Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical disciplineD&IInclusion and Diversity are core to our culture and values.
