DRANCO - een bedrijf uit de Indaver groep - is wereldleider in de bouw van anaerobe vergistingsinstallaties voor de verwerking van de organische fractie van huishoudelijk afval. Deze installaties worden turn-key geleverd door DRANCO of verwezenlijkt in samenwerking met licentiepartners. Daarnaast is het bedrijf betrokken bij de exploitatie van diverse installaties en doet het onderzoek naar alternatieve valorisatiemogelijkheden van organisch afval. DRANCO heeft een dertigtal werknemers.

**Lab technician / laborant analyses (m/v/x)**:
**1 Functieomschrijving**:
Als Lab Technician maak je deel uit van de afdeling “Lab & Consulting Services (LCS)” en speel je een cruciale rol in ons laboratorium. Je neemt actief deel aan de innovatie en optimalisatie van onze processen. Je zal biologische testen en analyses uitvoeren die essentieel zijn voor het monitoren en verbeteren van onze biogasproductie en afvalverwerkingsprocessen.
Concreet zullen jouw verantwoordelijkheden bestaan uit:
- Uitvoeren van chemische analyses, waaronder DS/VS, COD, Kj-N, totaal stikstof, gaschromatografie en extracties.
- Beheren, analyseren en verwerken van monsters gerelateerd aan anaerobe fermentatieprocessen.
- Monitoren en optimaliseren van lopende testopstellingen om de kwaliteit en efficiëntie te waarborgen.
- Onderhouden en kalibreren van laboratoriumapparatuur om betrouwbare resultaten te garanderen.
- Bijdragen aan innovatieve onderzoeksprojecten binnen het veld van biogasproductie en andere valorisatieprocessen.
- Je rapporteert aan de teamleader en het hoofd van het labo.
**2 Gezocht profiel**:
- Je hebt een diploma laborant of gelijkwaardig, bij voorkeur in de richting chemie, biochemie of milieukunde.
- Ervaring met chemische analyses zoals COD, Kj-N, totaal stikstof, gaschromatografie en extracties, is een plus.
- Je werkt nauwkeurig, hebt oog voor detail en volgt de GLP-principes.
- Je hebt een hands-on mentaliteit en bent praktisch ingesteld.
- Kennis van MS Office en ervaring met werken binnen een kwaliteitssysteem is een plus.
- Je hebt een passie voor duurzame oplossingen en milieuvriendelijke technologieën.
Ervaring in een gelijkaardige functie is een voordeel, maar geen vereiste. We zijn vooral op zoek naar iemand met de juiste instelling en bereidheid om te leren.
