**Robert Half Talent Solutions** is currently looking for a **Finance Business Partner EBU (M/F/x)** for a permanent position based in Brussels.
Our client is a fast growing company active in the** telecom sector.**
As **Finance Business Partner EBU (M/F/x)** you will be **responsible** for:
- Understand the monthly results of your affiliates and be able to explain variances versus budget, prior years and rolling forecasts, via a close collaboration with local and Group Finance or Support departments (Controlling, Tax, Accounting, Regulatory, Legal, Procurement, Treasury,);
- Support/create the consolidation of the E2E financial performance cycle of the EBU Affiliates from all different points of view;
- Drive the rolling forecast process by monitoring deadlines, obtaining proper input data from the affiliates, and challenging the outcome of the rolling forecast models;
- Boost the affiliates' profitability by challenging financial analyses, business analyses and actionable reporting, obtained from/requested to the local finance teams;
- Steer the Long
- and Short-term planning processes and push affiliates to deliver a challenging but attainable three years' plan and budget, within Group deadlines;
- Participate in the Affiliates Bid Approval Process (ABAP), aiming to validate the customer deals, by challenging the Leadership Squad/Board of Directors presentations and related business cases. Make sure that the rules, processes, and deadlines are properly respected;
- Challenge the profitability analyses of complex files received from the local finance teams and make recommendations to maximize shareholder value;
- Perform benefit management to measure the actual financial performance of a project compared to the business case assumptions;
- Get replies to ad-hoc questions coming from departments (e.g., IFRS, tax, treasury, consolidation, internal and external audit, taxonomy,).
The required **profile** for the **Finance Business Partner EBU (M/F/x)** position:
- Can take the E2E ownership for some EBU affiliates in an autonomous way;
- Has knowledge of the Telco and IT business or is willing to acquire it;
- Is well organized and can work with short deadlines;
- Is results-oriented, has an analytical mind and can cope with stress;
- Is a very good team player with excellent communication skills;
- Has very good presentation skills (oral and writing) and who can add a storytelling component to financial analyses;
- And, last but not least, who is proactive, assertive and diplomatic.
