Therapeutic Interventional Oncology (TIO) reflects Terumo's aspiration to be a Global leader in the field of Interventional Oncology. It’s combines the expertise of Quirem Medical in the radio-embolization field and other solutions, including chemoembolization and ablation.
**Job Summary**:
We invite you to join us as our Nuclear Laboratory Operations Manager, becoming an active contributor to our growing business. You will play a vital role in managing our Nuclear Laboratory (Hotlab) Organization, including our inhouse locations and outsourced partnerships.
You facilitate and ensure that all operations are executed with the needed level of safety and quality, while taking capacity and availability into account to accommodate the growing demand of our products.
You will get the opportunity to drive the further development of our hotlab platform and will be able to have a real impact on our organisation. As a trusted manager, you will be responsible for identifying potential hotlab locations and partners, designing and leading the implementation of new sites, project management & improvement, validation, and organizational development.
You will be the manager of a passionate Quirem hotlab organization and team of 10 members with 4 direct reports. You will report directly to and be guided by the TIO Global Director Operations.
**Responsibilities**:
As an active driver of our Nuclear Laboratory Organization, you will **define and manage inhouse and outsourced performance levels to ensure the demand of our products is met** as efficiently and timely as possible.
You will manage and **define our full inhouse organization**, involving all its locations. As the face of the company to many external partners, you will **build qualitative relationships**. You will assess each partnership with a critical mindset while **researching new opportunities or partners.**
- and long-term perspective**. You will **enable and guide your team members** to establish our operations in a compliant manner in terms of safety, quality, regulatory affairs and QMS procedures. By taking up your role as manager, you will strengthen the inhouse organization through training, education and development.

From handling operational difficulties and interpersonal conflicts to building company culture and promoting personal development, you will play an important role in the success of our hotlab organization. With continuous improvement and innovation in mind, you will contribute to the **development of our Nuclear Laboratory Processes**. Therefore, you will oversee and manage complex, but innovative and extremely interesting projects.
You will support and aid in the writing of **(QMS) documentation in close collaboration with QA and R&D**. In addition. You will also assume all **other responsibilities and authorities** this function may require regarding new opportunities.
**Profile Description**:
You have obtained a relevant degree and can look back on **2 to 5 years of experience** within the field of Nuclear Medicine or Radiopharmaceutical Production.
You are a certified** Radiation Protection Expert (‘Coordinerend Deskundige’) or TMS-VRS-B (previously known as ‘Stralingsbeschermingsdeskundige niveau 3)**.
You possess excellent **people management skills** and are driven to enable and collaborate with a dedicated team.
You can look back on previous experience in working within a **qualified production environment (GMP)**, as well as in working with quality management systems.
You possess excellent and communication skills. You are **fluent in English**. This involves both verbal and writing skills.
You are **detail-oriented, accurate, structured **and possess excellent **adaptive capabilities**.
You ensure** accountability** and are **driven to optimize work processes**. Furthermore, you are a problem-solver and a team player.
You are **open to travel **to our head office site in Deventer (on average 1 day per week) and you are a few days per week onsite in one of our hotlab sites in Rotterdam and/or Amsterdam.
