We are hiring a **Database developer (DBD)** for our prestigious partner DIGIT TM (DG Informatics) **in Brussels**. DIGIT-TM is a contract from the European Commission for IT services across Europe.

Main Responsibilities

As **Database developer (DBD)** you will be responsible for:
- Design, develop, and maintain our DB architecture
- Perform database analysis, data manipulation, and data modelling
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures
- Develop, implement, and maintain database security policies and procedures
- Monitor and maintain database performance and troubleshoot issues
- Develop and maintain technical documentation related to database design and development
- Provide L3 support
- Support teams onboarding Secunda+ ecosystem
- Support in end to end testing
- Participating in the design and creation of scalable software.
- Taking lead on projects, as needed.
- Meet both technical and consumer needs

**LEVEL OF EDUCATION**
- A bachelor degree of 3 years.
**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**
- Following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks_
- Proven work experience as a Database Developer or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database management system
- Experience with database design, data analysis, and data modelling
- Excellent SQL programming skills and experience with stored procedures
- Knowledge of database security policies and procedures
- Experience with data integration and ETL processes
- Experience with agile software development
- Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git and flyway
- Autonomous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Good verbal communication
- Attention to details
- _Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team;_
- _Ability to participate in multilingual meetings;_
- _Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects;_
- _Excellent Team Player_
