**Underwriting Service Specialist **for the Underwriting Service Department in our office in Zaventem/Antwerp. In this role you will provide administrative support to the Underwriters department. You will work in close cooperation with several internal and external stakeholders.
As an Underwriting Service Specialist, you are a key component of our business operations and contributing to our goal to deliver outstanding service to our clients. Whenever a new insurance deal is closed by our underwriting department, the Underwriting Service Specialist is responsible for the administrative policy processing. In our custom-built booking and policy system, you will enter the correct policy and client information. Besides that, you will also create and process invoices and occasionally create policy documents. Doing this timely and accurately is critical to ensure the service satisfaction of internal and external stakeholders. Furthermore, you will be able to participate in various IT related projects and process improvements.

**What will you be doing?**
- Data collection and preparation of policy documents (for new business and business renewal)
- Servicing of one or more Lines of Businesses where Zurich Benelux is active on its local market
- Data registration into local IT systems
- Identification of areas in need of improvement and suggestion of solutions to colleagues and Underwriting Service manager
- Participation in projects depending on the business needs while ensuring alignment with Underwriting Service Manager
- Policy invoicing
- Maintenance of the correct exposure data and policy information during the policy period
- Ensuring tax compliance for the pan-European insurance programs
**What are we looking for?**
- Junior college (“graduaat/graduat”) or equivalent
- Knowledge of / Experience in insurance administration is a plus
- Strong communicator and fluent/native in Dutch or French. Understanding of the second national language is preferable together with English.
- Ability to work accurately with numbers and data
- IT minded: ability to adopt new systems easily and good knowledge of Word and Excel
- Team player, both able to work independently and with your team
- Service-minded and pro-active attitude
- Stress-resistant and not afraid of working with deadlines
- Interested in operational excellence (improvement of procedures and processes)
