The camera team at Macq is looking for an experienced software developer. You’ll be working in a young and enthusiastic team and contribute to the embedded software of the Macq smart traffic camera family. The Macq cameras are equipped with state-of-the-art NVIDIA GPUs and run various deep learning modules for: detection and reading of license plates, make and model recognition, colour recognition and many others.

**As a **Software Developer** **you will**:

- Work with other developers to design **algorithms** and **flowcharts**:

- Produce clean, efficient **code** based on specifications
- Integrate software components and third-party programs
- Train and deploy **deep learning** modules as well as integrate third-party modules
- Troubleshoot, debug and **upgrade** existing software
- Recommend and execute **improvements**

**How we imagine our future colleague**:

- You have a **Master degree in Computer Sciences or Software Engineering or you are equal by experience**:

- Have **a proven track **as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role
- Knowledge of **coding languages**: C++, Python. Knowledge of Linux Kernel is an added value
- OS : Linux **Ubuntu**:

- Experience with **SQL Databases**:

- You are dynamic and proactive, open to **share experience** and knowledge
- You have the necessary **perseverance** and excellent problem solving skills
- You are hands-on, **goal driven**, and have excellent **communication** skills
- You have a **flexible** way of working and adapt yourself to the constraints
- You have a natural talent for **teamwork** that drives your team to excellence. But also have the ability to manage tasks independently
- As a **Software Developer**, you are fluent in **French and/or Dutch** and have a good knowledge of **English**
