For our office/site in **Antwerp** we are looking for a Proces Manager
YOUR JOB AT INEOS STYROLUION
As a Process Manager ABS you ensure a safe, reliable and profitable operation of the ABS plant in accordance with all internal and external regulations by continuous process optimization. In general you are involved in all process related activities of the plant.
More concrete this means that the Proces Manager supports the overall asset integrity and the safe and sustainable operation of the plant by promoting and upholding the safety performance in accordance with behavioral and process safety directives, by performing internal audits and plant tours, by maintaining a process safety system and by conducting HAZOP studies.
As Process Manager you are responsible for continuous process optimization including plant trials. Follow up new technologies & innovations, supervises industrial tests on site and supports the MOC process, monitors, reports and improves process related KPI’. Together with the production manager you analyze day-to-day process upsets in order to determine and implement continuous improvements. You ensure that all relevant process related documentation is up to date and available in our data management system.
On top of that you have the responsibility over the energy reduction program. This means monthly tracking, budget compliance and optimization. You have a supporting role in the management of the fixed costs and in the CapEx management.
You work together and interact with Product Management, Production Planning, Global Technology, Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Procurement.
You will be back-up for the Production Manager and/or the Asset Manager.
As a Process Manager you report directly to the Plant Manager ABS.
REQUIRED PROFILE
- You have a master degree in chemical or mechanical engineering and minimum 5 years of experience in the chemical process industry.
- You have experience in and deep understanding of process safety requirements, process optimization and process management.
- You have strong project management skills.
- You are an analytical thinker.
- You manage complex situations and complex operational issues in a result driven way.
- Cost consciousness, flexible and innovation driven are competencies that characterize you very well.
- As a team player, you take ownership and you can communicate with different levels of the organization.
