Purpose of the job
The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimisation of the organisation's IT infrastructure. This includes hardware, software, networking, security and cloud computing technologies. The IT Infrastructure Manager is also responsible for ensuring the IT infrastructure complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

Main Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain the organisation's IT infrastructure, including cloud-based solutions like Azure. This includes designing and implementing network architecture, virtualized environments, and security solutions.
Develop and manage IT infrastructure budgets. This includes tracking and forecasting IT costs, negotiating vendor contracts, and justifying IT investments.
Manage IT infrastructure projects from initiation to completion. This includes defining project scope, managing project risks, and coordinating with stakeholders using Agile or waterfall methodology.
Ensure that the IT infrastructure complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
Partner with other regions and GCIAG (Global) to contribute to global standards and solutions and implement local initiatives aligned with the global strategy, midterm and long term plan.
Manage IT infrastructure security risks. This includes implementing security policies, conducting security audits, and responding to security incidents.
Provide technical support to IT staff and users. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software problems, resolving user issues, and training users on new technologies.
Train IT staff on new IT infrastructure technologies, including Azure and Intune. This includes upskilling IT staff on cloud computing, mobile device management (MDM), and security best practices.
Stay up-to-date on the latest IT infrastructure trends and technologies, including cloud computing, 5G networks, and artificial intelligence/machine learning.

Uw profiel

**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management
Proven experience in project management
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, including hardware, software, networking, and security
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Additional Skills:
Experience with Azure, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Stack, and Azure App Service.
Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware and Hyper-V.
Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution.
Experience with security compliance frameworks.
Experience with project management
