You will be part of the global HR team for deploying and implementing HR projects and initiatives, whilst at the same time being the local HR spokesperson for Belgium and Luxembourg employees on HR topics. We are now looking for a committed and collaborative HR Partner who wants to be an important part of adapting, implementing, and driving the global HR strategies into a local market level. This position will be located at our office in Brussels and will report to the HR Manager of EMEA with a dotted line to the Managing Director of Polestar Belgium & Luxembourg.
**What you'll do**
In this broad HR role, you will bring people expertise and developing solutions to help the global HR team deliver strategies on a local level. As the HR representative of the Belgium & Luxembourg market, you will implement these HR strategies and make sure they are adapted and compliant to the market. To do this, you will have regular contact with the social secretariat, employees, managing director, local suppliers, authorities, and the HQ team located in Gothenburg whilst supporting the local team.
For example, your daily HR activities will include:
- Supporting the employment lifecycle for all employees including benefits, payroll administration, recruitment and facility management
- Prepare and issue relevant HR documents e.g., contracts, pension eligibility confirmation, successful completion of probation period
- Supporting the local market team with rollouts of annual merit
- and performance reviews, career planning as well as graduate
- and training programs
- Provide feedback and report to the wider global HR team with projects and process improvement for local adaptations
- Collaborate with global HR to drive the roll out of new initiatives and programs as well as taking part in local events
**Who you are**
To be a great fit for this position we believe you have:
- A bachelor’s degree within Human Resources Management, Business Administration or similar
- Thorough knowledge of Belgian & Luxembourgish labour laws
- At least two years’ experience within the Human Resources field
- Excellent level of spoken and written Flemish, French and English
- Experience working in payroll or compensation and benefits is considered meritorious
