Functieomschrijving

Als legal counsel van BeCommerce heb je een gevarieerd en interessant takenpakket. Je zal instaan voor:

- In house counsel:

- Formuleren van adviezen voor BeCommerce leden (webshops) die naar je toekomen met juridische vragen
- Juridische contracten opstellen en nakijken zoals verkoopovereenkomsten,samenwerkingsovereenkomsten, NDAs,
- Voorstellen, coördineren, voorbereiden en consolideren van contractuele feedback van partners
- Opvolgen van BeCommerce Statuten & Huishoudelijk Reglement en relevante VZW-wetgeving
- Juridisch advies en assistentie verlenen aan de organisatie om naleving van wetgeving te waarborgen
- BeCommerce Raad van Bestuur en Algemene Vergadering mee voorbereiden qua agenda, rapportering en notulen
- Opstellen en optimaliseren van contractuele sjablonen van de organisatie en andere templates (algemene voorwaarden, privacy policy, cookie policy,)
- Trustmark (TM):

- Label support: het (her)certificatieproces van onze leden in goede banen leiden en als verbindingspersoon optreden tussen de externe audit bureaus en de webshops
- Instaan en opvolgen van diverse nieuwe BeCommerce-label projecten zoals de (premium) security scan, reviews, communicatie van het label,
- Advocacy & Regulatory (A&R):

- Vertegenwoordiging van BeCommerce in de overkoepelende organisatie Ecommerce Europe: meetings bijwonen en opvolgen over de meest recente en toekomstige ontwikkelingen met betrekking tot het Europees wetgevend kader
- Opvolging van relevante ontwikkelingen in de Belgische en Europese wetgeving met betrekking tot de e-commerce sector en hierover communiceren naar de gemeenschap
- Vertegenwoordiging van BeCommerce in andere comités en op vergaderingen met andere regelgevende instanties
- Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR):

- Klachtenbemiddeling tussen consument en webshop begeleiden

Profiel
- _Master in de rechten_
- _Ervaring is niet vereist_
- _Interesse en bedrevenheid in het consumentenrecht (bij uitbreiding Wetboek Economisch _Recht) en vennootschapsrecht_
- _Diplomatisch/discreet ingesteld_
- _Pragmatisch en probleemoplossend_
- _International-minded_
- _Positief-ingestelde, autonoom, onafhankelijke teamspeler_
- _Affiniteit met de e-commerce/digitale sector_
- _E-shopper, actief op sociale media_
- _Je bent gemotiveerd en gaat een uitdaging niet uit de weg_

- Juridische documenten opstellen
Stappen ondernemen bij overheids

- Toezien op de juridische veiligheid van ondernemingen en hun belangen verdedigen tijdens financiële en juridische operaties
- Informeren en juridisch advies verlenen
- Een onderneming bijstaan binnen het wettelijk kader (fiscale regels optimaliseren,...)
