We’re Hiring | Legal Counsel – Northern EuropeLocation: Brussels | International Scope | Hybrid Work AvailableAre you a strategic legal professional looking to make a real impact across multiple countries?Groupe Dehon is recruiting a Legal Counsel to support our subsidiaries in Northern Europe (Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, and overseas activities). You’ll act as a true Business Partner to our operational leaders, ensuring legal compliance and guiding decision-making across the region.Your MissionReporting to the Group Legal Department, you will:Provide legal advice to management and operational teams in matters of Business LawDraft, analyze, and negotiate commercial contracts in close collaboration with subsidiary DirectorsPrevent legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance (including ESG and GDPR)Manage legal files related to contracts, disputes, and regulatory frameworksKeep stakeholders informed and trained on legal topics and new regulationsCoordinate with local legal advisors and report activities and risks to the GroupYour ProfileMaster’s degree in Business Law or equivalentAround 7 years’ experience in a similar in-house role, ideally in an industrial and multicultural contextFluent in French and English; Dutch is a strong assetSolid knowledge of Belgian law and contract lawFamiliarity with Dutch and German legislation is a plusExperience in compliance topics (IT/cybersecurity, ESG) is a nice-to-have but not the core of the roleAutonomous, diplomatic, proactive, and capable of working with a high level of independence while building trusted partnerships across functionsWhy Join UsBe part of a global industrial group with strong human valuesContribute directly to strategic legal decisions and company growthCollaborate with diverse, multicultural teamsWork in a flexible hybrid modelTravel across Europe and engage with international legal mattersInterested?Apply now to help us shape a compliant, responsible, and forward-looking business.Feel free to share this opportunity or tag someone who might be a great fit.#LegalJobs #InHouseCounsel #LegalCareer #ContractLaw #Compliance #LegalAdviser #NorthernEurope #BrusselsJobs #GroupeDehon #LegalRecruitment
