Onze partner is op zoek naar een Raw Material Specialist om hun R&D team te versterken. Dit toonaangevend productiebedrijf gelegen in **Leuven** is internationaal actief binnen de **voedingssector**

**Jouw verantwoordelijkheden?**

Als Raw Material specialist krijg je de **verantwoordelijkheid over de ontwikkeling en de uitzetting van een strategie voor specifieke grondstoffencategorieën**. Jouw takenpakket bestaat uit een aantal gevarieerde activiteiten:

- Het bepalen en voorstellen van de centrale **sourcing strategie** voor de opgelegde productcategorieën
- **Innovatieve ingrediënten** en grondstoffen **op de markt identificeren en intern voorzien
- **Trainingen geven** i.vm. het gebruik van bepaalde materialen en grondstoffen
- Opzetten van een **productportfolio** over de grondstoffen, de grondstofproducenten, de gebruikte technologie, etc.
- De organisatie **vertegenwoordigen bij leveranciers** voor technische vraagstukken m.b.t. innovatieve programma’s
- Het leiden en optimaliseren van centrale raw material** harmonisatie/re-engineering programma's**:

- Ondersteuning bieden bij **audits en M&A integraties** zoals portfolio assessments, training, implementaties, etc.
- **Innovatieprojecten** ondersteunen
- Het uitbouwen van nieuwe procedures om de functionaliteit van diverse grondstoffen binnen onze portfolio te testen inclusief validatie van nieuwe procedures, equipment, systemen, etc.
- De labo-apparatuur beheren en voorraden controleren

**Wie ben je?**

Om bovenstaande taken en verantwoordelijkheden succesvol uit te oefenen, beschik je als Raw Material Specialist over een hoger diploma in **voedingswetenschappen**, **bio-ingenieurswetenschappen**, etc. Daarnaast heb je een goede kennis van** voedingsprocessen
- en technologieën**. Je bent communicatief vaardig in het **Nederlands **en** Engels** Daarnaast heb je een sterke** organisatorische **skills, ben je **hands-on** ingesteld en **nieuwsgierig**. Tot slot ben je ook een **innovatieve, nauwkeurige **en** flexibele **persoon die openstaat om tot 20% van de tijd te **reizen**.
