Material Procurement Planner

**Location**: Louvain-la-Nueve, Belgium

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Estimate Raw Material needs basing on the forecasts
- Forecasting communication to the supplier according to Buyer’s guidelines and Purchasing strategy
- Requisition analysis & issue PO to the selected supplier(s) according to Buyer’s guidelines
- Supplier’s PO confirmation checking, and monitoring PO until reception and QC approval
- Sample request from selected suppliers and management/follow-up with QC
- Liaise directly with the supplier for PO date and quantity maintenance
- Be in close contact with buyers and report incidents
- Anticipate future shortages and take preventive actions in coordination with buyers (Airfreight, alternative sourcing,)
- Review KPIs of the department on a daily basis

**We Value**:

- Bachelor degree in a technical, scientific or supply chain discipline
- Fluent in English & French, any other language is a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a cross-functional environment
- Ability to work in a stressful environment
- Good Microsoft Office skills, experience in SAP (APO/R3) is a plus
