**Job Description**:
Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is looking for a master production&detailed scheduler at the Beerse site. The Beerse Planning Team supports various business units of the Beerse manufacturing Commercial Supply Chain. As part of the Global Planning Team, the master production scheduler is responsible for making an optimal Production Plan to guarantee an excellent service towards our Patients.

The function comes with great challenges given the dynamic business environment. Therefore, strong decision making ability, taking into account multiple scenarios, is very important as well as great analytical skills. Additionally, the function heavily relies on collaboration and influencing both internally and externally, so communication is key.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Site Capacity Planning**
- You are responsible for running a capacity constrained master production schedule (MPS), balancing Customer & Production needs and addressing issues pro-actively
- You perform site/portfolio Capacity Planning and site/portfolio MPS in terms of resources, shifts, equipment and shutdowns
- You review MPS, resolve issues and optimize MPS, running scenarios as needed

**Short term and long term Site Constraint Management**:

- You manage the Planning frozen horizon of production activities, maintaining accurate planning parameters in the systems
- You maintain material inventories within goal while minimizing excess, obsolete and expired products; you develop overall inventory projections for specific products
- You optimize customer service to avoid stock outs; identify and address potential supply constraints, manage impact and communication of manufacturing driven changes.

**Detailed Scheduling**:

- You optimize the production schedules for products in accordance with customer demand and available capacity
- You validate the schedule against material constraints and run scenarios as needed

**Other**:

- You provide Production Planning inputs into S&OP process, provide transparency of risks an opportunity, and participate in S&OP forums as applicable
- You are responsible for local site planning parameters and connecting to End to End (E2E) planning
- You participate in new product launch meetings as a business partner
- You execute planning activities derived from products phase-in phase-out

**Qualifications**:
**Qualification/Experiences**:

- Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required (or equivalent through experience). Advanced degree is preferred
- Years of Experience: 0-5 Years related experience
- Experience with ERP (SAP) & Advanced Planning Systems (OMP) is preferred
- Green Belt Six Sigma Certifications & Supply Chain Certification (APICS) desirable
