**Vacature omschrijving**:
The following tasks will be part of your job:
You will collect, improve, analyse and interpret data that is crucial to the smooth running of the IT department:
- You carry out and support data analysis to identify trends and anomalies, to provide tailor-made solutions and to formulate recommendations towards the different levels of our organization.
- You dive into the source systems and map the various data flows and perform fit-gap analyses in case of data migrations.
- During new projects or software implementations, you study the impact on the data landscape and prevent data quality problems before they even arise.
- Together with our data quality team, you monitor the quality of the data in the various systems, thereby actively contributing to the continuous improvement of the data collection and analysis processes.
You will work with cross-functional teams to understand and meet their reporting needs and requirements, and to implement and deliver data-driven solutions:
- You will develop, maintain and optimise dashboards and reports using Power BI and make sure they are aligned with our business terminology (to carry out and improve a uniform language within our organisation).
You do this on a secured way, considering the information classification rules.
- You will develop work methods; prepare detailed training packages based on established reports and provide training to employees to help them use reports and data analysis tools.
**Profiel**:
- **Experience**:You have a bachelor's degree or higher in an analytical, mathematical, statistical and/or economic field and have at least 3 years' experience in data analysis. A good knowledge of IT will certainly be a plus.
- ** Analytical skills**: You have an analytical mind and are able to make sense of complex information, down to the smallest detail.
- You are able to transform a large amount of data into a usable, user-friendly report/dashboard. You will be able to distinguish between the main and secondary issues and quickly establish links.
- ** Software knowledge**: You have basic knowledge of SQL, experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, and advanced skills in Excel. Experience of programming languages such as R or Python is a plus.
- ** Communication**: You have good communication skills and are able to provide simple explanations of complex data.
- ** Team spirit**: You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and draw your energy from working together to achieve the best results.

- ** Language skills**:you are fluent in English; Dutch or French are a plus.
