**Mission**

As Vendor Quality Expert you will assist the Quality Manager in establishing, managing and maintaining a structured Quality Assurance System based on the Puratos Q-Standards and Q-Policy.

You will contribute to reach the main objectives of quality assurance, with a focus on food safety, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement:

- Ensure a service level to guarantee customer satisfaction
- Ensure the food safety of the products,
- Control and minimize the cost of Non-Quality
- Contributes to all operational objectives and participates to the continuous improvement program towards Operational Excellence.

**Key accountabilities**

Your responsibilities within this role are:

- Complies to all applicable legal regulations and international food safety standards
- Ensure Technical Data Sheet, quality, IP (kosher, RSPO, halal, bio) and Safety Data Sheet information is always up to date for all raw material item - supplier combinations, third party manufactured items and food packaging
- New Product Development : Start up the supplier approval procedure for new items and take the lead in the quality approval of new items
- Support improvement projects in Vendor Quality
- Help the production departments analyze and report product / process trends related to raw materials including execution of root cause analysis

**Who are we looking for ?**

The person for this position should be someone that:

- Has a Bachelor degree with a scientific background (preferably in Quality)
- Has a first experience in a similar role
- Can manage customer needs, collaborate effectively, is well organised and structured and has high problem solving skills
- Has a proficiency level in English and having good skills in French and/or Dutch
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); knowledge in SAP is an advantage
