**Role Purpose**:
Ibec Global is the international business division of Ibec - Ireland’s largest lobby and business representative group. We are Europe's leading English-speaking, globally networked business organisation. Our internship is an excellent learning and development opportunity. The successful applicant will support our research, publications, events, communications, outreach, and business services activities, in addition to assisting in general administrative and procedural tasks.

**Essential requirements**:

- English proficiency at a professional level; a good command of another EU language would be an advantage.
- A university degree in a relevant discipline.
- Strong project and programme management skills.
- Knowledge of the EU Institutions and the role of stakeholders in regulation and standard setting.
- Good awareness of the EU and international economic and business environment.
- A keen interest in and/or understanding of enterprise and employers’ issues and a commitment to defending and advancing business interests.
- Excellent research, report writing, drafting and editing skills.
- Confident, articulate and highly organised, with keen attention to detail.
- Comfortable juggling varied tasks in a small and busy team.
- Marketing or communications experience an asset.
