International Tax Manager

The main objective of the International Tax Manager is to provide end-to-end tax support to the Proximus International segment (including BICS, Telesign and RouteMobile).

The International Tax Manager activities' can be summarized as follows:

- The International Tax Manager will report to the Proximus Group Tax Lead.
- The International Tax Manager will provide end-to-end tax support to the Proximus international segment (including BICS, Telesign and RouteMobile) covering risk assessment, business impact and optimization, including on:
- The tax analysis with respect to the set-up of local presences.
- Analyse tax considerations of cross-border flows (covering WHT leakages, transfer pricing considerations, etc.)
- Optimize the international operating model in line with business objectives.
- M&A: Coordinate/lead tax due diligence procedures, optimize acquisition and divestment structures and avoid/limit tax risks.
- Coordinate with local tax advisors and tax area specialists within the Proximus Group Tax department.
- Coaching to local finance/tax teams in the International Businesses.
- Responsible for the correct input of the tax positions in the accounts and the reporting within the Proximus Group.
- Follow-up of tax legislative changes in relevant jurisdictions and prepare information to top management on the impact of these changes for the Proximus Group.
- Represent Proximus towards the tax authorities during tax audits and formal procedural communications in the field of direct taxation.
- The function requires business travel, notably to India and the USA.

**Your profile**
- Master’s degree in Economic Sciences / Commercial Engineer / Law with a specialization in tax law.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar position (big4 or in-house).
- Solid experience with international tax.
- Good knowledge of US and/or India country taxation regimes.
- Autonomous problem solver with good project management skills.
- Strong communication skills and strategic thinking.
- Able to build up a network and maintain regular contact with all stakeholders.
- Excellent knowledge of English.
