**Position Overview**

Lead supply chain optimization projects across Avantor's global network. In doing so, you will be responsible for the operational and strategic implementation of the Global Supply Chain Operations Strategy to achieve the Global Operations Supply Chain Goals

**Main tasks and responsibilities**
- Project management of the development and implementation of solutions to support our Global Supply Chain Operations Strategy as well as adjustments in the existing processes including own best practice experiences
- Coordination between European central functions and the respective site logistics teams to support the timely implementation of requirements to achieve the project goals in a best-in-class manner. This includes:

- Support in the optimization of material flowoSystem weak point analysiso
- Support in the creation of JIRA requests
- Identification of problems, challenges and optimization potential in SAP
- Support with complex issues and data analysis as well as process definition, implementation, documentation in consultation with the respective departments
- Creation and implementation of project plans and coordination in cross-functional teams-Consultation with process owners to evaluate and verify performance of new implementations
- Own data collection, modeling, analysis, and process capture, performance analysis, business case calculations, and development of recommendations for continuous improvement and appropriate implementation and presentation to management
- Responsibility for feasibility studies considering service requirements, potentials, and constraints
- Ensuring customer satisfaction

**Qualifications / Experience**
- Sound experience in project management
- Economic, entrepreneurial, and strategic skills to advise senior management on complex issues
- Strong communication skills and negotiation skills in German and English to ensure the appropriate transfer of information / communication with employees
- Leadership ability paired with the willingness to work in a team
- Willingness to travel in a global environment, ability to work under pressure and confident demeanor even in critical situations
