AETHER manages these opportunities in key strategic sectors, as these offer greater learning opportunities with multi-million impacts: - Public Infrastructures - Process Manufacturing - Component & System Technologies One challenge for public infrastructures’ operations is that a lack of clear business-IT alignment and automation consistency can jeopardize the stability and modernization of national energy systems. => We therefore invite you to collaborate with AETHER as a senior Business Analyst Intelligent Automation. JOB DESCRIPTION: The scope of our contract is to bring assistance with a right-hand Project Executive, in the context of a major digital transformation program within a national energy operator aiming to optimize system operations, customer services, and market integration through intelligent automation. The key responsibilities expected from our on-site delegate might include: - Support the business in specifying and running software validation tests (UAT) and coordinate integration tests within cross-functional projects. - Train and help the business to use tools optimally. - Validate the functional analysis supplied by IT to check that the proposed solution completely meets specifications. - Validate implementations made at the end of each sprint by preparing test cases and running them. - Support the business in developing designs for new products and in driving the ongoing evolution of existing products. - Define business expectations and model the information and the operational processes leading to the design or ongoing evolution of IT tools. - Model the business data involved in development and evolution and accompany the development of an enterprise data warehouse. - Based on business needs, analyse and describe the requirements for the solution. The experience we are actively looking for: - Minimum six years of relevant experience as a business analyst or similar role. - Strong understanding of business process modelling and data modelling. - Experience in writing and validating functional specifications. - Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills. - Exposure to the energy or utilities sector is an asset. - Good project management capabilities, solution-oriented mindset. - Fluent in Dutch and/or French with good command of English. - Degree in civil engineering, commercial engineering, or equivalent scientific master’s degree. - Entrepreneurial experience or ambition is a plus (extra-professional or extra-academic is a great start). - Immediate availability is preferred. - Valid single permit for non-EU citizens.
