**About the Role**:

As a certified **Black Belt** (or equivalent), you will serve as the Process Excellence point of contact, driving global strategic and continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with global teams and work closely with the Process Excellence team to ensure consistency in methods, prioritize efforts, and leverage team capacity. This role is an individual contributor position, with no people management responsibilities, but requires frequent interaction with staff across all levels, other business unit leads, functional leaders, and customers.
**Key Responsibilities**:
As a **Process Excellence Lead**, you will:
- ** Conduct comprehensive process analysis** to identify opportunities for digital transformation and outline future state requirements and capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, process owners, champions, and business leaders to set priorities, develop agendas, and design objectives that support Labcorp's Process Excellence efforts.
- Lead process improvement teams, ensuring timely completion of projects that align with critical goals and customer satisfaction requirements.
- Perform data analysis and create reports that provide insights into process performance and improvement initiatives.
- Analyze and document current business processes and workflows across different departments and functions.
- Work closely with IT and other departments to design and implement process automation tools or systems.
- Assess business process integration and design processes for future state alignment.
- Develop and communicate business cases to support recommendations for change, and implement controls to monitor progress of improvements.
- Partner with various teams across the organization to enhance customer satisfaction, increase productivity, drive growth, and improve employee engagement and performance.
- Demonstrate strong project management skills by leading complex projects, balancing competing priorities, and achieving desired outcomes within budget and timeline.
- Manage large-scale projects involving multiple functional departments, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Perform and lead detailed analyses to determine process improvement opportunities and prioritize redesign efforts.
- Foster a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and innovation, championing excellence and learning within the organization.
**Education**
- Minimum of Bachelor of Science/Arts (BS/BA) degree.
- ** Minimum level of Process Excellence experience as a certified Black Belt or equivalent job experience - three to five years.**:
- Relevant experience may be substituted for education.
**Required Skills & Experience**:
- ** Experience**: Minimum of 3-5 years in a technical process excellence role, with proven success in driving process improvements and digital transformation.
- ** Methodologies**: Expertise in **Lean Six Sigma**, Process Excellence, and **Experience Design** methodologies to develop transformational processes focused on outcomes, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiencies.
- ** Customer-Centric Focus**: Ability to drive rapid experimentation and hypothesis testing with a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points.
- ** Stakeholder Management**: Skilled at presenting findings, leading workshops, and facilitating discussions to gain alignment on recommendations and process changes.
- ** Problem-Solving**: Adept at navigating complex challenges, conflicting requirements, and negotiating solutions that meet business needs.
- ** Leadership**: Ability to inspire trust, build relationships with stakeholders, and lead teams through process improvements and change initiatives.
- ** Communication**: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
- ** Analytical Skills**: Proficiency in quantitative reasoning and ability to draw actionable insights from data, including familiarity with statistical tools like Minitab and Excel.
- ** Technical Expertise**: A strong technical background and the ability to contribute to the architecture and design of digital solutions to support business transformation.
- ** Tools**: Proficiency with common business tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Minitab).
