As a Policy Officer, you are responsible for analyzing and leveraging relevant intelligence and data to support and develop our advocacy messages and proactively engage stakeholders. Advocacy and knowledge-sharing are foundational to AmCham’s pivotal role in improving business and investment opportunities for the US-Belgian business community.
- You collect, analyze and leverage intelligence and data from a variety of Belgian, European and international sources on a wide range of topics which are relevant to AmCham’s advocacy and knowledge-sharing activities.
- You ensure the good functioning of our government relations forum, which aims to promote the regular exchange of viewpoints and constructive dialogue with policymakers and other stakeholders.
- In close coordination with the Chamber's competent bodies, you are responsible for developing advocacy documents and engaging with stakeholders. You support the leadership in stakeholder outreach.

To excel as our new Policy Officer
- You have experience in Belgian public affairs (agency experience is a plus).
- You are curious, constructive and you connect the dots.
- You have excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and are fluent in Dutch and French.
