**Role**:
The role reports to the Executive Director for Strategy and Healthcare Systems and is part of the Healthcare Systems team.
The EFPIA Healthcare Systems team work on the broader health system policies of the industry and interacts with different actors, stakeholders and policy-makers, including patient organisations, to discuss the future of European health systems and relevant policy issues.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Keep developing and execute the EFPIA Patient Engagement Strategy working closely with other EFPIA teams and functions
- Develop strategic relationships with patient organisations, healthcare professionals, healthcare providers and other organisations representing health system stakeholders
- Manage the EFPIA Patient Think Tank
- Manage and drive EFPIA’s engagement in the EU Health Coalition and other multi-stakeholder partnerships
- Develop and implement strategies for internal alignment, coordination and engagement in relation to the strategic partnerships
- Manage implementation of the Health Collaboration Awards.
- Lead on related event planning and management.
- Manage budget responsibilities for all duties assigned, as well as assisting with overall department budget management with the Executive Director for Strategy and Healthcare Systems.
- Support the team with other tasks as requested.
**Minimum qualifications**:
- Degree in public health, political sciences or related field
- Number of years of relevant work experience: +5 years
- Fluency in English (native speaker or equivalent) with proven experience in drafting position papers/memos and in public presentations
- Good knowledge of MS Office software package.
**The following would be assets**:
- Previous experience of outreach and relation-building, specifically in public health or healthcare
- Knowledge and/or experience in healthcare/life sciences
- Experience in pharmaceutical, medical devices or other health industry in positions related to patient relations, stakeholder engagement and/or government affairs
- Familiarity with the functioning of the European institutions.
