Hobson Prior are seeking for a Research Associate Senior to join a fantastic CRO on a contract basis located in Belgium. Our client is focused on changing healthcare with audacious novelties.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- For this position, you will comprehend the data and offer scientific/tactical contributions to outline root-cause analysis in case of test failure.
- Evaluate toxicological risk assessments and BERs planned by external resources assisting in the accomplishment of EU MDR connected remediation actions for maintaining products.
- Formulate biological review plans using a risk base approach rendering to ISO 10993-1.
- You will outline the method for biocompatibility in the context of EU-MDR and any other regulatory paths, for example: reportable alterations, new registrations, etc.
- Any other assigned duties.

- Communication skills both verbally and in writing.

**Requirements**:

- Educated to an advanced degree level in a toxicology or similar discipline.
- At least 5 - 7 years of experience within a biological review of devices/drug role in a pertinent organisation.
- Know-how and implementation of pertinent regulatory direction's which involves ISO10993 or pharmacopeias.
- Familiarity with engaging with regulatory bodies such as EMA, FDA, etc.
- Ideally you are located within Europe, but could be in the US if the hours are flexible.
- Competent in using document management databases such as TcU.
- Fluency in the English language with knowledge in French would be beneficial.
