**Description**:
Stantec International Development, based in La Hulpe, is the Stantec unit that provides consulting services to international institutions, such as the European Commission (EC), the European Investment Bank (EIB) and EU bilateral donors such as DFID. Our services include design, procurement and construction supervision for water and wastewater, energy, and climate change projects as well as management support, monitoring and evaluation of large investment programmes. Our main geographical focus lies on Europe, Africa and other developing countries.

Your role:
Main duties and responsibilities:

- Manage supplier & customer accounting reviewing in-going/out-going invoices and coordinating vendor payment process
- Be responsible for the month-end accounting activities.
- Perform the balance sheet reconciliation
- Prepare and submit VAT return of the company
- Manage the Payroll accounting process, including the accounting entries and coordination with payroll company
- Participate in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentation for auditors.
- Participate in the optimisation of the accounting processes.
- Assist the team leader in all on-going and temporary

**Qualifications**:
Must have:

- Bachelor Finance and Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Experience with VAT
- Experience with ERP system, preferred Oracle
- Strong knowledge of English and French
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Desirable:

- Experience in an international environment
- Experience with TAX
- Experience with Isabel software
