Research & Development Internship - High efficiency silicone antifoams
We are looking for you, an ambitious master’s student (M/F), to support Dow Silicones business by doing an internship project on silicones antifoams for our location in Seneffe, Belgium.

Project description
Silicones are well-known foam control agents used in various industries (detergency, pulp & paper, coatings, etc). This internship will focus on the characterization of the behavior of these antifoams in function of parameters such as temperature and shear in a given foaming media. The characterization will include interfacial measurements and observations techniques, together with some performance measurement. Relationship between characterization results and performance data will need to be established, and guidelines to achieve optimum performance proposed.
