**Skills, knowledge, experience required**:

- Extensive practical experience in working in an ITIL Service Operations environment;
- Experience in:

- Leading and implementing organizational change;
- Daily management of people and resources;
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of NATO and current NCIA senior management and organisational structures;
- Ability to:

- Analyze a wide range of data and develop recommendations based on empirical data and the underlying strategic objectives of an organization;
- Exercise authority, take initiative, and deliver even when under pressure with limited instructions and mínimal supervision;
- Excellent and proven ability to communicate effectively in English, orally with good briefing skills, and in writing with experience developing management and planning documents and procedures;
- Proven organizational and coordination skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to be responsive and sensitive to both external and internal customers and staff.

**Duties/role**:

- Serving as the Chief ESOC's principal staff officer with general responsibilities;
- Managing/coordinating ESOC administrative functions, including development and implementation of administrative policies and procedures;
- Ensuring:

- Proper and efficient staff management, administration, and operation of the ESOC's day-to-day routine;
- That the Chief ESOC's decisions and guidance are assigned, prioritised and executed appropriately to time and quality;
- Coordinating and facilitating planning as directed and foster a collaborative working environment within and beyond the ESOC;
- Providing oversight, coordination and supervision of all ESOC Front Office activities including general services and administrative management;
- Drafting accurate, concise and clear documents, reports, letters and other artefacts as directed;
- Organising and coordinating major events and visits including: executive off site meetings, managers' conferences, resource boards and key meetings on behalf of the Chief ESOC;
- Coordinating and managing the ESOC battle rhythm 'calendar' and routine activities;
- Acting as:

- ESOC Unit Information Knowledge Management (IKM) Officer, responsible for coordination of ESOC IKM activities, to exploit MS SharePoint and to champion best practice;
- ESOC Departmental Security Officer and ensure that NATO security rules and standards are applied and adhered to;
- Primary point of contact for all topics related to global support (administrative, infrastructure, maintenance and logistics, etc.);
- Managing ESOC registers including issues, risks, lessons learned and broader business process data repositories and coordinating mitigation and action;
- Managing and coordinating ESOC Tasker Tracker requests in close coordination with internal and external stakeholders;
