Based in Mons, Belgium the Head, Change & Configuration Authority (CCA) will lead the governance of Change, Configuration, and Release & Deployment Management practices throughout the NCI Agency.

The NCI Agency acquire, deploy and defend communications systems for NATO's political decision-makers and Commands; the agency is on the frontlines against cyber-attacks, working closely with governments and industry to help NATO keep its technological edge.

**The role:
The Head CCA will work within the Service Management & Control (SMC) Branch in the Chief Operating Office (COO) with this post leading the governance of Change, Configuration, and Release & Deployment Management practices throughout the NCI Agency. This post will enable the development and maintenance of relevant policies and ITIL processes across the international operations of the NCI Agency. Taking responsibility for an established team based in Mons the Head CCA will take responsibility for the delegation of ICT Change Authority at Corporate level and will chair the Corporate Change Advisory Board (C-CAB). With the focus of the NCI Agency to evolve its operational structure the Head CCA will lead the professionalization of the CCA workforce and provide leadership in Patch management in cooperation with the NATO Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and Enterprise Service Operation Centre (ESOC).

With a focus on establishing and continual improvement of these processes and practices, the responsibilities of the Head CCA will encompass the key areas of:

- **Configuration Management**:manage the NCI Agency configuration management system and governance whilst being a champion of the business value and policies for secure configuration management.
- **IT Change Management**:set the NCI Agency policy and governance for the management of change in live services and test environments.
- **Release and Deployment**:set the NCI Agency release policy for the organisation in the context of both development and production/operations.
- **Team Leadership and Development**:lead the Change and Configuration Authority team, enabling strong collaboration between all team members and stakeholders, empowering them and supporting them in their further development.

**About you**:
You will easily establish good relationships with key stakeholders and be able to relate to people at all levels of the NATO organisation. You produce new ideas, approaches and insights to deliver innovative solutions to the delivery of Change Configuration and Release & Deployment Management practices. Able to adapt to changing circumstances you can manage ambiguity, accept new ideas and change initiatives, further to this you have:

- Senior level experience in developing, establishing and delivering tools and processes enabling Configuration Management, Change Management and Release and Deployment Processes within a complex technology organisation;
- Previous experience leading and developing teams, preferably within an international environment;
- Demonstrable experience with the integration of disparate systems to a centralised system;
- Ability to prepare and delivery executive level reporting on delivery/performance of system(s);
- Demonstrable experience using data for meeting SLA targets and KPIs through via Service Level Management;
- Experience with the implementation and maintenance of an Enterprise IT Service Management toolset;
- ITIL v.3/4 expert or higher accreditation with substantial skills, knowledge and experience in Service Management best practices ISO 20,000/ITIL.
