Within **Univercells**, as **_Project Manager - Project Definition, _**you will be part of the CAPEX team who is responsible for the conception, construction, and qualification of all infrastructure project of the **Univercells **Group worldwide. The team also gives support to **Univercells **clients. **RESPONSIBILITIES**: You will report directly to the Project Definition Manager and be accountable of defining a variety of infrastructure projects for Univercells Group and for its clients inside or outside Belgium. Project Definition starts at inception, goes through Feasibility, Concept and/or Basic Design and finishes at hand-over to the project execution team. - Understand and help the Clients (internal or external) define their needs of the business and anticipate future investments - Set-up projects according to best-in-class practices including organizing the team, managing stakeholders, scope & changes, schedule and budgets. - Oversee and challenge all technical aspects of the projects. - Assure the integration of the UNVC Engineering team. - Select partners and set-up and manage their contracts according to sound Procurement practices. - When needed organize sponsor meeting with contractors and suppliers to support the projects. - Organize the necessary steering meetings. - In collaboration with the PMO office, report on a regular basis on the status of the different projects. Although an important part of the function can be performed within Belgium, some international travel might be required. **REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS**: - Master’s in engineering (bio, chemical, mechanical or eq.) is required. - Project certification (PMI, Prince2, Agile) is a clear plus. - 8+ years of successful and relevant experience. - Having successfully managed and qualified infrastructure projects is a must. - Exposure to biotech manufacturing activities is a must. - Exposure to CQV (commissioning, qualification, and validation) is a must. - Working experience with engineering consultancy is preferred. - Ability to work in a very constrained environment (timing, budget, level of quality). - Comfortable working in a VUCA environment. - Autonomous, initiative taker, pragmatic, solution/result oriented, agile minded. - Strong people manager and team leadership. - Positive & "One team" spirit - Fluent in English, Spanish and French are a plus.
