Product Information Expert

**Product Information Expert & Process Optimization Specialist - this is your mission**

This position combines expertise in product information management, process optimization, and data quality to ensure accurate and efficient data practices within the organization.

As Product Information Expert & Process Optimization Specialist you have the following responsibilities:
Product Information Expert:

- Maintain relevant master data information for publication in GDSN (Global Data Synchronization Network), following the latest GS1 standards. This includes ensuring that product information is readily available for customers, delivered in a timely manner, and meets the required quality standards.
- Be the main point of contact for GDSN-projects for Nestlé Belgilux within zone Europe.
- Verify errors / warnings in data GDSN based on the GS1 rules / audit and correct + find proactive solutions to avoid these errors.
- Responsible for testing in GDSN, document outcomes and highlight issues
- Calculate on basis of product master data info the relevant tax components & ensure maintenance of these components in the relevant tools and do the timely declaration of the excise duties for Nestlé Waters.
- Reconcile the excise duty declarations of 3rd party (Distrilog) with our sales & tax calculations (Coffee Business).

Process Optimization Specialist
- Be a change agent within the master data team, proactively identifying areas for improvement and leading change initiatives such as aligning the way of working across markets.
- Seek to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in your work and for the benefit of the team by mastering various tools and techniques.
- Propose, participate in, and lead improvement initiatives and projects to enhance master data processes.
- Act as an ambassador for data quality with external sources, such as customers, third parties, and external organizations.
- Participate in NCE operational review meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of data processes
- Contribute actively in the exploratory phase of every project around your area
- Define & be responsible or accountable for implementing the actions to reach the project objectives for the scope of her/his work

**What are we looking for?**
- Bachelor's/master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Information Management).
- 2 tot 5 years of experience in product information data management and optimization.
- Entrepreneurial and continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy and a structured way of working.
- Proficient in data management and analysis tools.
- Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Have affinity with Microsoft tools and software like Excel, SharePoint, PowerApps and Power BI and AI automation.
- Bilingual Dutch and English is a must, French is an asset.
