BESIX is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Equipment Planner to join our Equipment Support & Service department in the Belgium-Luxembourg region. The Equipment Planner will play a crucial role in identifying and managing equipment needs across construction projects, ensuring seamless integration with project planning and coordination among multiple stakeholders. This role requires strong communication skills to proactively gather input from sites, analyze relevant information from different sources, and assertively engage with stakeholders to ensure an efficient and well-informed planning process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with project teams (start-up and ongoing projects) to assess and identify equipment needs for various construction activities.
- Develop and maintain short
- and long-term equipment planning schedules, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Proactively search for and gather necessary input from construction sites, ensuring accurate and up-to-date planning.
- Regularly update and follow up on equipment planning, integrating updates into overall project schedules.
- Ensure coordination between construction sites, stakeholders, and equipment plants to optimize equipment availability and utilization.
- Identify investment needs and opportunities for equipment procurement to enhance operational efficiency.
- Incorporate equipment planning into overall project planning, ensuring seamless interaction and coordination.
- Utilize planning tools and methodologies (Primavera, MS Project, LEAN) to effectively manage equipment schedules and resources.
- Assertively reach out to all stakeholders and colleagues to share and provide the necessary information for effective planning.

- Solid experience in equipment planning, logistics, or related fields within the construction industry.
