**egta is the Brussels-based network of senior professionals mandated to monetise content, sell advertising and optimise revenue on behalf of the 170 television (video) and radio (audio) companies active across 45 countries in Europe and beyond that currently make up the association.
It is egta's role to accompany its members as they transform and adapt to the challenges and opportunities of a fast-changing media world, impacted by digitisation as well as by the constant emergence of new technologies. We do so through various types of activities: conferences (both live and virtual), experts' workshops, databases, a research and benchmarking centre, study trips, training programmes, online resources, etc.
egta's numerous fields of activities include: regulatory affairs, research, creativity, sales and marketing strategies, automation, audience measurement, new technologies, ESR, the promotion of TV and radio and plenty others.
**Description de la fonction
**egta, is currently searching for a **new colleague for its television Research, Audience Measurement and Market Insight department **.
This person will work hand in hand with egta's TV Research team. He/she will help meet its members' growing need for information and international benchmarks. He/she will analyse incoming questions, structure questionnaires, help create surveys and databases, collate information, process it and feed it back to all interested parties in a clear, visual and helpful format. He/she will contribute to a thorough follow-up of all things related to the evolution of audience measurement.
Furthermore, he/she will also be asked to assist with the organisation of both live and virtual events in line with the hottest research topics of the moment or with the activities of the association.
**Description du profil
**- has no less than a perfect mastery of the English written and spoken language
- has **a minimum of **two to four years of practical experience in the media research and advertising industry **and understands the challenges of a fast-changing media industry turned fully digital. Having worked for a television or radio broadcaster/sales house, for an advertiser or for a media agency is a plus.
- has some understanding of the challenges linked to audience measurement in a cross-media environment.
- is not so much a ¿number cruncher¿, but rather, should be good at summarizing and digesting information coming from various sources and countries
- is a team player
- is happy to travel
- is comfortable speaking in public
- is comfortable with all Microsoft Office tools, in particular with Excel
- is able to multi-task and work under pressure
- is based in Brussels or nearby
