At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Business Analyst to join our UniQue Brussels team at European Commission.

**What will you bring to the team?**
- Provide expertise for the IT strategy and the IS business architecture
- Elaborate of functional and non-functional requirements and business case analysis
- Perform business process analysis and business process modelling
- Draft and review use cases
- Follow-up of tasks and provide quality assurance of implementation deliverables
- Acts as a liaison between end users, technical analysts, information technology analysts, consultants and other organizations in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of IT systems to ensure optimal operational performance
- Identify opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and/or non-system driver changes. Assists in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes
- Assist with the production of user acceptance plans, business cases and project charters
- Provide work direction to technical staff and acts as a team lead on designated projects or assignments
- Analyze of the integration of different information systems
- Carry out data analysis and data modelling
- Assistant on relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting

**Requirements**:
**What do you need to succeed at this position?**
- Hold minimum a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- In-depth knowledge of information systems matters and business processes analysis
- Very good knowledge of software development processes
- Good knowledge of Agile principles
- Knowledge of BPM Standards (BPMN)
- Expertise in UML
- Good knowledge of interoperability technology (Service Oriented Architecture, web services, message-oriented middleware)
- Capability to write clear and structured technical documents
- Good knowledge of, and experience with drafting functional / business use cases
- Hands-on experience with modelling and analysis tools (e.g. Visio, Gliffy, Enterprise Architect).
- Proficiency in English language at advanced level

**Not required, but desired**
- Experience with Jira
- Experience in writing reports and project management artefacts is an asset (e.g. Business Case, Project Charters documents)
- Good understanding of the Commission business processes
- Proficiency in French language
