**The Job**:
You will manage the finance department (accounting, controlling, financing, reporting, risk) and will be part of the board.
- Manage the financial operations of the group and its subsidiaries.
- Improving the **finance & control framework.**:

- Translating strategies and plans into a clear selection of key KPI’s.
- Developing a set of **financial and management reports** that help senior management and shareholders to monitor the performance of the business and to actively manage the operations.
- Supervise the **Energy Balance** and gross **Margin analysis.**:

- Prepare annual accounts.
- Ensure compliance and integrity of financial data and reporting.
- Developing budgets and (rolling) **forecasts **(P&L, balance sheet, CF).
- Organise and realise **funding** (banks, alternative funding, shareholder funding, etc.).
- Supervise the accounting and tax activities, manage relations with auditors, inspectors and competent authorities.
- Building a proper **risk management** framework.
- Control risks and proper execution of hedging/sourcing strategies.
- Assist the board in M&A (acquisition, sale, merger).

**Is this job made for you ?**
- Master’s University degree.
- 10+ years relevant working experience.
- Experience in the energy or similar sector (retail market).
- You have an analytical mind and you are able to convert strategy into numbers.
- Proven experience as leader. Strategic partner for CEO and COO/CTO. Track record in developing high quality business strategies and plans.
- Specifically, for this business, affinity with developing complex risk management strategies.
- Experience with working in complex IT environments.
- Masters the English and French or Dutch.
