Customer data and marketing automation via different digital communication channels, are key enablers to reach out to customers and prospects and deliver personalized commercial messages. The relevant customer data will be stored in, and activated through, our Customer Data Platform (CDP). By developing and operating the CDP, increasing the efficiency and performance of automated marketing activities, the role contributes to reaching business KPI’s like number of clients, number of services sold, turnover and margin generated,

Under your leadership the CDP evolves towards an open, one-stop-data-shop for all 121-customer messaging, across all selected channels. In collaboration with stakeholders, you design and deploy a development roadmap for the CDP and its connectivity with data-sources and activation channels. You build automated campaign journeys in Marketing Cloud for a variety of campaigns.

You are responsible for the daily operations and future development of Luminus’ Customer Data Platform (CDP in Salesforce Marketing Cloud), a key component in our marketing automation and omni-channel customer development approach.

Together with your colleagues of Data Intelligence you ingest and unify the necessary 1st party customer data, create segments in CDP, and this based on use-cases from marketing & business stakeholders.
- Prioritise and integrate datasources and channels with Marketing Cloud CDP
- Responsible for process and systems to manage data ingestion and unification, ensuring production data is correct and timely available for each campaign
- Collaborates with Data Intelligence and Marketing teams to build and improve data models/extensions that feed campaigns/journeys, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven customer messaging
- Collaborate with channel and media partners to configure, test and validate destinations (media, targeting,..) to send segments for audience activation
- Build and optimize automated campaign journeys across digital communication channels
- Lead audience activation management, processes, evolution and oversee data taxonomy creation, set up and measurement
- Identify and implement segmentation opportunities, validate data integrity & personalisation
- Performs data analysis required to troubleshoot data related issues & assist in the resolution of data issues
- Examine and analyze performance data to help improve campaigns
- Inspire team members to learn and maintain Marketing Cloud data best practices, processes and training
- Influence internal teams and take a leadership role to ensure that segmentations are used appropriately and regularly
- Lead and Spoc for day-to-day Marketing Cloud performance, support and maintenance
- Operational assistance on the CDP (user management, updates, testing )
- Document and lead internal and external support ticket resolution
- Work with IT to manage account configuration, users, permissions, (sub)domains

- Represent the voice of customer : Being able to step in the customers' shoes and defend their view. Provide follow-up to make sure that products & services meet customer needs. Ability to multi-task and work independently in a rigorous and structured way
- Have an interest for the energy industry and climate change
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in a business, engineering or IT-related field
- Strong but pragmatic, result oriented, interest in data driven marketing
- 2 to 3 years experience in a digital marketing environment, preferably B2C services
- Communicate effectively, yet respectfully, orally and in writing
- Hands-on experience with data modeling
- Experience with SQL and RDBMS required
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
