**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Product Strategy & Roadmap**:

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for the Data Acquisition, Automation, Modeling & Simulation portfolio.
- Align product strategy with business objectives and market needs, ensuring a clear vision and direction for product development and acquisition.
- ** Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders mainly researchers at Syensqo from the Research and innovation function to validate and refine the product vision, strategy, and roadmaps.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related matters, ensuring effective communication and alignment across teams.
- ** Product Lifecycle Management**:

- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and post-launch support.
- Monitor product performance and usage metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize product features and user experience.
- ** Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain detailed product documentation, including product requirements, user guides, and release notes.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on product status, performance, and strategic initiatives.

**Key Requirements**:

- **Technical Skills**:

- Strong technical background, with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts in the Data Acquisition, Automation, Modeling & Simulation domain.
- Experience with digital product development, data analytics, and software engineering processes.
- ** Industry Knowledge**:

- Understanding or Passion of the chemical industry, including the challenges and opportunities related to Data Acquisition from research and innovation equipment, Automation, Modeling & Simulation domain.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices.
- ** Leadership & Communication**:

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
- ** Additional Skills**:

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in product management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence etc).

**_Education and experience_**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management or product ownership, experience in the chemical or industrial sector is a plus.
- Proven experience working in a domain of Data Acquisition, Automation and /or Modeling & Simulation.
