Finance & Compliance Coordinator - Microsoft

For our client, **Microsoft**, we are looking for a **experienced Finance and Compliance Coordinator** to join their **EGA**'s (_European Government Affairs_) Executive and Operations team based in Brussels. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that builds relationships and supports the European digital and broader policy agenda.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day finance, accounting, and procurement processes of the team, including creating purchase orders, reviewing contracts with the legal team, ensuring compliance with **Microsoft**'s policies, and handling invoicing.
- Collaborate closely with the Business Operations Manager to coordinate and prepare the annual budget and financial forecasts.
- Prepare and publish accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, and conduct regular budget reviews with EGA teams.
- Foster collaboration with EGA teams, external consultants, and law firms to streamline the contracting process and achieve economies of scale.

**Required Qualifications**:

- **Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting**, or a related field.
- **4+ years of experience in budget**, **financial**, or **compliance management**, preferably in a similar industry.
- Proficiency in **MS Office**, particularly Excel. Knowledge of PowerBI is a plus.
- Strong **analytical**, **problem-solving**, **communication**, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborate across teams, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent collaboration skills with an open, transparent, and inclusive work style.
- Highly proficient in written and spoken English.
