Forvis Mazars is looking for a Junior Tax (Global Mobility) Consultant to strengthen its team in Ghent and/or Brussels. Following an initial introduction and training, you will join our Global Mobility Services team, which provides advice to HR managers, Finance departmentson the tax, social security, immigration and legal matters related to their international personnel.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Advise on international employment structures and implementation (by analysing the national and international tax legislation, such as double tax treaties);
- Assist clients with tax, social security, and migration compliance;
- Provide advice on equity-related compensation and the implementation in the payroll;
- Advise on salary optimizations and Belgian tax regime for impatriates;
- Keep up-to-date with changes in tax, social security, and migration laws;
- Manage client files in a team with support from a senior team member;
- Collaborate closely with payroll and labour law teams and Forvis Mazars offices abroad.
**Your profile**:
- Master's or bachelor's in law, (Applied) Economics, Business Management: Accountancy & Taxation, Business Administration: Taxation or Postgraduate in Tax
- First experience as a Tax Consultant is a plus (but no necessity);
- You are fluent in Dutch and/or French and English. Knowledge of Dutch is required;
- You are client focused with a hands-on attitude;
- You are highly motivated, have excellent communication skills, can solve complex problems in a pragmatic and qualitative way.
