Our Belgian organization is divided into the three divisions Air & Sea, Road and Solutions. Within Air & Sea we offer solutions for the most demanding logistics challenges in sea and air freight worldwide. Within Road, we transport goods daily with more than 20,000 trucks to any destination in Europe. Within Solutions, we work with our customers to develop logistics solutions that increase overall efficiency and reduce costs. For this we have over 300,000 m2 in Belgium alone in various warehouses.
Always been interested in transporting special goods? Think about animals, plants, vegetables, fruit, cars,... All these shipments naturally need special attention and care to reach their destination. We are looking for a Freight Forwarder Export specialised in Airfreight. You will work 50% of the time as a Freight Forwarder and the other 50% as an inside sales employee. You will be responsible for handling our export Airfreight shipments. Based on our target list, you will call and contact several potential clients.
**Tasks**:
- You take care of the daily service around airfreight & export shipments for a number of different customers
- Your focus is on shipping and receiving vegetables, fruit, meat, fish, live animals,...
- You have daily contact with customers
- You are responsible for correct invoicing and data quality
- You inform customers of irregularities
- You will manage a portfolio of prospects and acquire new customers.
- You prospect on the perimeter fixed by the Management
- You will contact new potential clients by phone (mostly cold calling).
- You are responsible for preparing the offers and creating new files in our database.

- You have a great passion for air cargo
- You speak fluent NL, FR & ENG
- You are stress resistant and have a sense of initiative
- You are good at analysing problems and looking for solutions
- You are communicative, enthusiastic and dynamic.
- You are not afraid of cold calling and telephone prospecting
