Factoring (also called Commercial Finance) is providing its clients with working capital financing solutions and is offering services to help the clients to mitigate the risks associated with being paid late and the day-to-day administrative costs involved.

Within the Group BNP Paribas, Factoring is a “Filière” steered by the Global Factoring Competence Centre (GFCC) which is based in Brussels.

**Compliance Factoring Filière **is the central compliance team for the Factoring filière, coordinating the compliance activities in each of the Factoring entities. This central team consists of 6 compliance officers including a Compliance COO team of 2 persons and is also based in Brussels.

Your future job

**As** **a member of the Compliance COO team** **for the Factoring Filière,**
- You will supervise the well-functioning of the control set-up for compliance-related risks put in place in the respective factoring entities, you will monitor the results of these controls and you will re-perform some key controls, all that as part of an “**independent testing**” program that you will set up.
- You will perform a limited number of **Compliance controls** for the Factoring entities and the Filière;
- You will be one of contact person for the **Compliance Reporting** teams at Compliance Group and CPBS (the former Retail Banking operational perimeter) in Paris. You will launch and follow up on various reporting campaigns, assist the colleagues in follow up of Risks and Action Plans, participate to improvement exercises, manage access rights to the BNPP tools,...
- In charge of **Procedure Management**, you will keep the mapping of Group Procedures versus Factoring Procedures up to date, participate in the GAP exercise on new policies,
- You will become the **Training Referent** for Compliance Factoring Filière, represent us in the Training Referents community within BNPP, animate a community of Compliance Officers around the Training topics, organise reporting,
- With regards to **Communication**, you will organise calls, workshops and annual seminar for Cpl Factoring community, build and maintain the Echonet page of cpl factoring Filière, etc
- You will be the **IT referent** and follow up on (a very limited number of) IT Projects, on accesses for BNPP tools at central level and in the entities and you will develop and maintain some templates.

You will report to the Head of Compliance Factoring Filière and the Head of COO Factoring Filière**.**

Highlight your strengths
- Bachelor or master degree or comparable knowledge by experience;
- Independent, **well organized and flexible** in order to deal a.o. with strict deadlines imposed by the Compliance Function;
- Good capacity to analyse procedures, instructions and other documents, **to interpret and “translate”** them to a business environment;
- Good communicator and good presentation skills
- **fluent in English and French** - knowledge of **other European languages** being a real nice to have;
- Readiness to **help and assist colleagues** in the local compliance teams w.r.t. policies, instructions, tools, reporting,imposed by Compliance BNPP, CPBS and/or Factoring;
- Fluent with basic IT-tools (incl. Excel).
- Supporting and respecting the BNPP values incl. compliance & CSR values.
