Sustainability Manager Insurance

As an expert in sustainability, you will support insurance companies in developing their sustainability transition plans for the short, medium, and long term. This includes defining their sustainability ambitions, advising on the establishment of strong governance for sustainability risk management, and integrating sustainability into core business activities such as investment management, product design, and underwriting.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Sustainability Strategy Development**: Work with clients to define their sustainability ambitions and strategies.
- **Climate Impact Assessment**: Assist clients in identifying and assessing the impact of climate on their business and establishing the right metrics to measure climate-related risks.
- **Business Solutions**: Lead or participate in teams comprising various stakeholders to translate sustainability strategies into concrete business solutions.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Help clients implement regulatory requirements following the Sustainable Finance Package (SFDR, Taxonomy, CSRD, etc.).
- **Market Development**: Stay abreast of regulatory and market developments in sustainability (EU Regulation, ESG labels, data providers, reporting standards, etc.).
- **Stakeholder Management**: Manage relationships with a range of stakeholders, both internally and externally across different functional areas.
- **Service Offerings**: Actively contribute to the development and growth of our sustainability service offerings.

Required Profile:

- **Experience**: At least 8 (or 10 for Senior positions) years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 (or 7 for Senior positions) years in sustainability roles as a consultant, business analyst, or project manager.
- **Leadership Skills**: Experience in C-level communication and willingness to take on new challenges and responsibility for a service area.
- **Language Proficiency**: Fluent in English and either Dutch or French.
- **Attributes**: Proactive, analytical, results-oriented, and continuously striving for improving efficiency within your work environment.
- **Communication**: A true People Manager with professional and effective communication skills, both oral and written.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent contract

Pay: €5.500,00 - €7.000,00 per month
